This 33.5 ft. diesel engine Bluebird Concept is used as a mobile library for patrons of all ages.
This is the latest in the long "lineage" of bookmobiles serving the communities in and around Hagerstown, MD, Home of the 1st Bookmobile in the US in 1905!
The graphics were designed by the library in liaison with the OBS graphics department and feature the diversity of the outreach patrons and the history of the soon-to-be 100 years of bookmobile service.
