The success of Boston U's "CityLab" (shown here) became widely know in the bio-science community and led directly to other equally successful programs such as the University of North Carolina's Mobile Bio Lab "Destiny" and the Connecticut BioBus (below).
Connecticut's BioBus, developed and operated by CURE. Connecticut's Bioscience Center cluster was initiated to enrich the scientific curriculum at middle and high schools with unique experimental experience. This unit accommodates up to 24 students and 2 instructors. The program also provides workshops for teachers and visits to community events.

This 45 ft. Voyager III Mobile Classroom brings a unique bio-tech laboratory experience to Maryland middle and high school students. A service of non-profit MdBio, the chief objective is to raise the awareness for a bio-tech centered education. This will help to sustain and grow an educated workforce to support and attract bio-tech companies in the state.
