This 40 ft. Mobile Medical Research Laboratory was commissioned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide a platform for gathering research data for nutritional studies on control groups in the North Central States.
The main features include a Bone Densitometer (X-Ray) and an EEG room with complete EMI shielding. The forward laboratory area incorporated substantial working space and included a clinical grade refrigerator and freezer as well as administration areas and a restroom.
Severe weather upgrades included spray foam insulation throughout, double pane inert gas windows, a Webasto diesel fired hydronic heating system, four roof mounted air conditioners, and a Kohler 20 KW diesel generator to provide 120 and 240 volt AC electrical power. |
