OBS INC. Bookmobile A Big Hit

Hunterdon County, NJ held its 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck Day on Saturday, November 7, 2009. This still parade featured the county's fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, bucket trucks, Army trucks, and other emergency and county services, including their OBS-manufactured Bookmobile.

Thousands of people attended the event, where children are welcome to climb on and in a number of different vehicles. Mark Titus, Director of the Hunterdon County Library in Flemington NJ, said

"The [OBS INC.] bookmobile was a major hit again this year, and was, at times, full of children and their parents. Four people signed up for library cards, and a number of people even checked out books and DVDs, with 65 items checked out in the 3 1/2 hour period! One little boy was so enamored with the bookmobile that he cried when his mother tried to get him to play on the other vehicles!"
