CONVENTIONAL STYLE SCHOOL BUS

With the introduction of the Blue Bird VISION, Blue Bird Corporation has
raised the grade in school bus safety. By engineering and constructing a
new purpose-built chassis that incorporates a more angled hood design,
Blue Bird has improved the driver sight lines in front of the bus -
offering the greatest loading and unloading zone field of vision
available in its class. The Blue Bird VISION is also the only bus in its
category built on a chassis specifically designed for a conventional
school bus. This ensures quality, reliability, passenger ride comfort
and of course, safety.

D3 REAR ENGINE SCHOOL BUS

The All American Rear Engine (RE) school bus extends Blue Bird's legacy of leadership by setting new industry standards for driver ergonomics and productivity, safety, serviceability, passenger comfort, and life-cycle value. From its 33% larger, bonded-for-strength windshield to its recessed LED rear lighting, its new features rest on our time-honored foundation of school-bus-specific design, superior materials, and cut-no-corners construction. The engine's rear location provides exceptional serviceability, allows extra cooling and consequently higher power ratings, reduces noise to lessen interference with the driver, and allows an unencumbered stepwell for boarding ease and a clear view of children boarding and exiting. With capacities ranging from 66-90 students and attractive fuel choices of diesel or compressed natural gas, the All American RE is an ideal transportation solution, especially on routes requiring extra power.

MICRO BIRD® SCHOOL BUS
Up to 30 capacity
The Micro Bird single rear wheel models are available on a Ford
9,600# GVW chassis or a GM 9,600# GVW chassis.
These models offer seating capacity for up to 20 passengers.
The dual rear wheel Micro Birds offer seating for up to 30 passengers
and are ideal for special needs transportation with a capacity for up to
5 wheelchair positions.
The Ford chassis model is also available with a dedicated CNG engine
and track seating.

years experience, Blue Bird offers a full line of Micro Bird small buses
that exceeds all requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
for school-bus constructed vehicles. And like all Blue Bird buses, the
Micro Bird series is built reliable and easy to service.
Depending on your particular needs, OBS offers a number of
different size Micro Bird models with seating from 10 to 30 passengers.
Each of our Micro Bird models is equipped with safety features non-
conforming vans can't touch, such as a heavy-duty steel roll cage,
purpose-built child restraint seats, a full-view outward opening
entrance door and a special driver-view window.
