This 6-Bed Blood Donor Unit delivered to the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA is the pinnacle in comfort and
care for donors and staff and is integral to the support of our
service men and women throughout the US Navy and Marine
Corps.
All of the Custom Comfort articulating donor beds are
located adjacent to strategically placed windows, and,
together with the detailed appointments and creature comforts,
provide an atmosphere of pleasant thoughtful care to
enhance the donor experience.
Private interview rooms, expansive storage for blood products, full galley with
refrigerator, sink and microwave are some of the features that
make this wonderful bloodmobile an asset to any blood
collection program.
Two (2) 12 kilowatt Quiet Diesel generators
are incorporated to provide redundant power
generation systems to help keep this unit in service while
decreasing scheduled maintenance and increasing the life of
the gensets. Electrically powered roof-mounted air conditioners
and high capacity fresh air vent fans help to ensure a
comfortable environment.
