Franklin County, PA Bookmobile
33-1/2 ft. Blue Bird Concept® Model 3211 delivered to the Franklin County Library in Chambersburg, PA, serves patrons of all ages.
Colorful exterior graphics promote the bookmobile's function as it travels throughout the area.
Standard and oversized shelving and magazine bins allow for varied collections up to 4,000 vols. A portable PC workstation can be altered to be used in either a sitting or standing mode or can be converted for book shelving.
An exclusive OBS feature on the Blue Bird transit style bus is the rear-mounted ADA wheelchair lift, allowing handicapped patron loading that does not impede the flow of traffic in the aisle way of the bookmobile while in use. Two "skylights" with reversible vent fans are provided for ambient light and ventilation.
