Our professional driver/trainer delivers each vehicle to our customer, regardless of their location, and thoroughly trains the staff on the operation and maintenance and its major components.

Our full-service Blue Bird desk provides customers with full parts and service support. Ongoing factory training assures our customers of expert post-sale support and service. Warranty service is performed on-site or at authorized service representatives most convenient to our customer throughout the US and Canada.

 

 

 

Company History

 

OBS INC. is a full-line Blue Bird school bus distributor, selling school buses, parts, and accessories. We support our customers with a service department, body shop, and state-of-the-art paint booth.

Blue Bird is a leading manufacturer of school buses, commercial buses, and recreational vehicles, delivering thousands of vehicles each year. Blue Bird has an extensive distributor network throughout the United States and Canada, assuring additional support for OBS special purpose vehicles.

OBS INC. began operation on March 1, 1999, after purchasing the assets of Ohio Bus Sales. Ohio Bus Sales was established in 1978 as a distributor of Blue Bird school buses, performing the same functions as OBS INC. OBS is a privately held corporation located in Canton, Ohio, and occupying 35,000 square feet of offices and service facilities. The service facility includes a special purpose vehicle shop, a full-service repair and body shop, and an O.S.H.A. approved, state-of-the-art electrostatic, down-draft paint booth large enough to paint the largest buses.

OBS occupies a total of 35,000 square feet in our Canton, Ohio location.

 

 

Our facility includes a dedicated 18,000 square foot parts and service facility completed in June, 1994 with:

  • State-of-the-art paint booth with full vapor recovery
  • Bake oven for high quality factory finishes
